Local Project Gallery is pleased to present Priscilla Proudwoman Stadler’s first solo show in New York City. Through diverse media including sculpture, drawing, video projection and human interaction, Stadler’s art offers opportunities to explore ways we seek and construct meaning. 

During an ORQ [The Oracle of Random Quotes] consultation, assisted by the Artist/Listener, random texts may provide potentially relevant insights into life’s dilemmas . Whether you are grappling with questions, needing advice, enmeshed in a quandary, facing a conundrum, or just plan curious, you may want to try ORQ*.  

Throughout the duration of the installation, visitors are invited to contribute quotes and original phrases to the Oracle. This random advice will then be used for others who come to seek guidance.
